Welcome to our new and improved state of the art website! The new search interface will make searching photographs, artifacts, textual records and landmarks easier for Burnaby residents and researchers. Everything you wanted to know about Burnaby is at your fingertips. The Heritage Burnaby website first went live on February 18, 2008, and was developed from an initiative of the Community Heritage Commission and City Council, to provide an online database of the City’s textual records and heritage collections. Since then, standards and technologies have evolved. Recently, Heritage Burnaby underwent an upgrade to ensure that it continues to meet current standards for users with different abilities and for mobile access.
