Burnaby Village Museum in consultation with several Local First Nations have developed a 27-page illustrated educational guide. This guide provides an overview of hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ and Sḵwxw̱ú7mesh history in Burnaby from the time of the ancestors to the present day.
Burnaby Village Museum staff greatly appreciate the contributions of these communities who shared their history and knowledge. This guide should be considered a living document that will be updated as we continue ongoing conversations with all First Nations who share territory in Burnaby.
